Janessa has been with Coronado Veterinary Hospital since January of 2018, but has been working in the veterinary community since 2014. She received a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Communication Disorders at New Mexico State University in 2010, and worked with special needs children in the Phoenix, AZ school district for 4 years as a Speech and Language Pathologist Assistant, prior to switching careers. That time in her life was enjoyable and meaningful and taught her a lot about life and people. She is the oldest of 5 girls and grew up on a small ranch in New Mexico where her parents raised Blue Heeler’s, horses, and cows. Her favorite thing to do is spend time with her husband; whether they are exploring the outdoors, hanging out with their families, or doing projects around their home. In her spare time Janessa enjoys photography, fashion, and drinking lots of coffee. In fact, she’s dubbed herself an honorary Gilmore Girl from her love of coffee.
