Dr. Maxwell will be joining Coronado Veterinary Hospital in July 2026 after receiving her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from Washington State University’s College of Veterinary Medicine (https://vetmed.wsu.edu/). Her undergraduate work was completed at the University of Arizona (https://www.arizona.edu/) in Tucson.

Dr. Maxwell grew up in Arizona’s White Mountains, primarily in Show Low and Snowflake. As an Arizona native, she is excited to be returning to Southern Arizona to begin her veterinary career and become part of the Sierra Vista community. She enjoys building strong relationships with both clients and their pets. Her professional interests include diagnostic imaging and internal medicine, with a particular interest in endocrinology.

Outside of the clinic, Dr. Maxwell enjoys hiking, reading, cross stitching, and spending time with her extended family who live throughout Arizona. She especially enjoys exploring Arizona’s beautiful outdoor spaces whenever she can.
